PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior Ramon Sosa captured his second 110m hurdles crown at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in as many years on the final day of competition Sunday at Princeton’s William Weaver Stadium. The Syracuse men finished fourth out of 49 teams with 42 points. The Orange women placed seventh in a field of 47 squads.

Sosa became Syracuse’s second individual event champion at the ECAC/IC4A Championships, following Friday’s first-place performance from senior Kyle Heath in the 3000m steeplechase. Sosa posted a time of 13.88 seconds in the final heat en route to the crown. He set the stage for his championship sprint with preliminary round’s top performance of 13.89 seconds. Sosa claimed the title in 2007, as well.

Graduate Aulton Kohn placed second in the 200m dash with a time of 21.28 seconds.

On the women’s side, freshman Flings Owusu-Agyapong placed fourth in the 100m dash with a time of 11.81 seconds.
